Vastu Tips for North-West Facing Home

North West direction is also known as Vayavya Corner & is ruled by moon which signifies creativity, prosperity, luck,

social circle. Vastu Shastra says that any Vastu Doshas in this direction can lead to tensions, disharmony in the house,

clashes with neighbours, legal matters, court cases (even imprisonment in some cases), financial & health issues if the

house is not constructed and placed according to the rules of Vastu Shastra.

following some vastu rules then residents will be blessed with more prosperity, happiness, and good offsprings also. This

Don’ts:

•  Avoid a plot with any cut in North West
•  Never place Water Tank in North West
•  Do not construct Kitchen in North West
•  Avoid any extension or projection or cut in the north-west corner which can impact

on career or business relationship and may cause enmity with friends & relatives

Do’s:

• Place OM, Swatik and Trishul on both sides of home entrance
•  One can keep fasts on Mondays as the ruling planet for this direction is moon
• Installing a Chandra Yantra (Moon Yantra) is one of the best remedies for North

West vastu doshas

• If there’s a cut in North West corner then place 9 sets of vastu pyramids in the one set in each 8 zones & 1

brahmasthan

•  Keep All your jewellery, money and important financial documents must be kept in the south-west (store such things in

a cupboard or safe), facing north or north-east which will provide financial stability

• Leave more open space in the north-east zone of the plot while making a construction and make a lower boundary at

the northeast zone of such a plot. The lower boundary at northeast will help in attracting the positive flow of cosmic
rays from the Ishanya corner

•  The south-west boundary should be higher in north-west facing properties
•   make an aroma garden to enhance the wind element properties
•  Construct all fire element i.e. kitchen, power station, electric panel etc. should be placed in the south-east zone
•  Finally, North-west facing properties should have a master bedroom in the south-west, children bedroom at east, pooja

room at northeast and bathroom in the west zone of the house
